1. RISC-V Day Tokyo Features

     RISC-V Day Tokyo is the largest RISC-V event in Japan. Presentations are made in a physical venue and exhibition booths will be placed near the venue. RISC-V Day Tokyo aims to bring together leading RISC-V technologies and products, key persons and engineers, and to provide business opportunities for product recognition, collaboration among companies, technology exchange and information gathering. Last year’s RISC-V Day Tokyo 2023 Summer attracted a total of 450 registered participants from 9 countries (Japan, Sweden, USA, Taiwan, Germany, China, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Denmark) gathered and many more people who viewed the website at a later time. RISC-V Day Tokyo 2024 Summer will be held at the Ito International Research Center, University of Tokyo Ito Hall, the foyer and the Event Space on the second basement floor, with conference and booths in the physical venue format. Due to the provision of boxed lunches to all registered participants and the rise in prices of various items, there will be a 15% increase in sponsorship fees based on Japanese yen.

3. The Event Content of RISC-V Day Tokyo 2024 Summer

      RISC-V Day Tokyo 2024 Summer event will be presented at the physical venue. There will be no online broadcast. Video recordings of the on-site presentations and presentation materials will be made available two months later. Demo booths are set up in the foyer and the Event Space in B2. 　The following opportunities are available to sponsors.

RISC-V Day Academic

RISC-V Academic is organized by a group of academics specialized in computer architecture centered around RISC-V  in Japan. Foyer will be reserved for three hours so academics can conduct its short presentation followed by poster sessions. Mobilizing youth and students creates our future hence this type of activities are supported within RISC-V Day. 

RISC-V Day 2024 Emphasis

 In ten years since the introduction in 2014, RISC-V has been adopted in Data Center Generative AI Accelerator projects, HPC, major 5G mobile baseband chips, wearables, automotive grade chips, and AI Accelerators  in North America, Taiwan, Korea, and China.  The theme of the RISC-V Day Tokyo 2024 Summer will be “RISC-V in Generative AI, Automotive and HPC — Expanding Research Areas and Applications in the AI Era.”  APAC engineers who promote RISC-V will contribute to RISC-V locally. In Year 2024, we will continue to hold conferences in cooperation with a local engineering organization in Vietnam, incorporating new cutting-edge applications.
