Webinar: “UltraSoC & NSITEXE: Overcoming Challenges in Automotive Design” UltraSoC (Siemens) CEO Rupert Baines and guest NSITEXE (Denso subsidiary) CTO Hideki Sugimoto transition to future automotive design and autonomous driving, Let’s talk about how the two companies jointly quarantine in the fight against electrification and cybersecurity threats.

Mr. Sugimoto has extensive experience as a CPU architect in ISA, microarchitecture, RTL, circuit and layout design, etc. To address the challenges of SoC design, we’ll talk about how universal design approaches, including scalability and efficient development approaches, and how an analytics-based approach can help. Baines will take a closer look at UltraSoC technology and discuss the wide range of industry issues behind the adoption of embedded analytic approaches by large companies like NSITEXE.

Hideki Sugimoto NSITEXE CTO Co., Ltd.
Joined NEC in 1989. For more than 20 years since then, he has extensive experience as a CPU architect in ISA, microarchitecture, RTL, circuit/layout design, etc. From 2014, moved to Denso Co., Ltd., and since then has been pursuing the ideal state of LSI from the perspective of LSI users and working to achieve the conditions for establishing technology and business as an embedded computer.

Rupert Baines, CEO, UltraSoC (Siemens)
Mr Baines is a 30-year veteran of the world’s semiconductor and telecommunications industries and has previously held senior positions in both ventures and prominent multinational corporations. Prior to joining UltraSoC, he was Vice President of Marketing at Picochip (now part of Intel) and Vice President of Strategic Marketing after the acquisition by Mindspeed. He has also gained experience with telecommunications companies Arthur D Little and Analog Devices and is critical in the development and mass market adoption of Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), the most popular broadband access technology in use worldwide today. Played a role. Baines is also a Fellow of IET: British Institute of Engineering Technology.
